Delete Your Data

App: Cat Rules Corp: Idle Tycoon. Developer: Sipidik OU. If you linked a Google or Apple account, you can delete your account, cloud save and player ID inside the app. Anyone can instead request deletion by opening a prepared email to Sipidik OU; it is the way for a guest and for anyone who cannot use the app. You do not need to reinstall, open the app or sign in to send that request.

How to Delete Your Data

Cat Rules Corp does not require an account. The game backs your progress up to the cloud under an anonymous player ID (a random ID with no name or email), and you may link a Google or Apple account in Settings. You can have your cloud save, your player ID and the sign-in details linked to it deleted. Some records cannot be deleted this way; they are listed below under "What Is Kept or Not Cancelled".

  • In the game, if you linked a Google or Apple account: in app versions that include Delete account, open Settings, then the Account tab, and tap Delete account at the bottom. The button is shown only to players who have linked a Google or Apple account. It needs an internet connection. The game lists what will and will not be deleted, then asks you to press and hold a button for 2 seconds to confirm. After the hold you are asked to sign in with your Google or Apple account again, to confirm that it is yours. The Google or Apple sheet can appear twice: first to pick the account, then to sign in. Nothing is deleted before the hold and that sign-in are done. The game says "Account deleted" only when it has finished. If you see an error (for example that the connection dropped) or "Almost done", follow the message: try again once you are online, or let the game finish by itself. If your Settings does not show Delete account, update the app or use the email request below.
  • By email, if you play as a guest or cannot use the game: a guest is a player who has not linked a Google or Apple account. A guest has no account, only an anonymous player ID that holds no name, email or other personal data, and the game has no Delete account button for a guest. To have your guest cloud save removed, use the form below. The same form is for anyone who cannot use the game for another reason (you uninstalled it, lost your phone, or your app version has no Delete account), and you may use it even if you linked an account. You do not need to reinstall the game or sign in first. Your email app will open with a prepared deletion request addressed to info@sipidikco.com, and you send it from there. You can also write to that address yourself with the subject "Delete my data". What we can do depends on what identifies you, see below.
  • Uninstalling the game alone does not delete your cloud save.

What to Include in an Email Request

We only act on a request that we can tie to you, so that nobody can delete somebody else's data or saved game. Descriptions of your progress (CEO level, Branch, when you last played, device model) and the platform (iPhone or Android) help us look but are not proof. The game does not display your player ID. What identifies you depends on your case:

  • You linked a Google account: give the full email address of that Google account. The game shows only a masked version of it in Settings, Account (for example j***@gmail.com). Send the request from that address, or we reply to it to confirm before we delete anything. We then delete your cloud save and your player ID, including the linked sign-in details.
  • You linked an Apple account: if you chose to hide your email, the game shows only the label "Hidden Apple email" and never the address. Give the Apple Account email if you chose to share it with the game, or the private relay address (it ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com), which you can look up in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple, Cat Rules Corp. We confirm by email before we delete anything. If we cannot confirm through that address, we may ask for a store order number as well (see the purchase point). We then delete your cloud save and your player ID, including the linked sign-in details.
  • You play as a guest (you never linked an account): an anonymous save has no name or email address and its ID is not shown in the game, so nothing outside the game identifies it as yours, and we will not delete a save on the strength of a description. A purchase made with it can identify it: see the next point. If you never linked an account and never bought anything, we cannot tell which save is yours, and we will say so.
  • You made a purchase: send the store order number from your receipt (the Order ID in Apple's receipt email, or the order number that starts with GPA. in Google Play). We try to match it with the purchase record in RevenueCat, which carries the player ID of the game that made the purchase. If it matches, we delete the cloud save and login that belong to that player ID, if they still exist, and, on request, the RevenueCat record itself. This is also the only way to reach RevenueCat's record after an in-game deletion, when the player ID itself no longer exists. Where the law requires a purchase record to be kept (tax and accounting), only that record is kept and we tell you.
  • Apple, Google and Unity keep records of their own. Requests for those go to them, not to us: see the Privacy Policy for the links.

We answer every request within 30 days and confirm by email. If we need more time and the law allows it, we tell you within those 30 days and say why. If we cannot identify you from your request, we say so and tell you what further information would help. A request never cancels a subscription.

What Is Deleted

In the game, deletion starts once you have completed the final confirmation and the sign-in. By email, it is done when we complete your request.

  • Your cloud save (your game progress)
  • Your player ID and, if you linked one, the Google or Apple sign-in details stored with it (including the name and email address the provider gave the game). With Sign in with Apple, the game also tries to revoke its Apple authorization when you delete in the game.
  • In the game only: your progress and settings on the device, and the reminders scheduled on it. The game also tries to log out of RevenueCat, which does not delete the RevenueCat record (see below).
  • By email only, and only if we can find it with a store order number: the purchase record held by RevenueCat

After an in-game deletion the game restarts from the beginning and creates a new anonymous player ID straight away at that next launch (a random ID with no name or email; the game backs the new, empty game up under it).

If something interrupts the deletion (for example the app is closed or the connection drops), the game normally remembers on the device that a deletion is under way and does not upload your save while it is. What happens next depends on how far it got. If your cloud save had not been deleted yet, the game tries that step again the next time it opens. If that try fails (for example because there is no connection), it cancels the request, says "The account deletion you started could not run. Nothing was deleted." and you have to start again in Settings. If the connection was too slow to tell, it says instead that your cloud backup may or may not have been deleted, and asks you to try again when your connection is better. Once your cloud save is deleted, the rest continues by itself the next time the game opens, when the connection is back or when you return to it. If a linked account needs a fresh sign-in to finish (for example because your last sign-in is more than about five minutes old), Settings, Account shows a Finish deleting button: tap it and sign in again. Do not uninstall the game until it says the account is deleted: if you uninstall it first, the remaining steps cannot run, and if you already did, email us. If you are not sure whether a deletion finished, Settings, Account shows whether one is still waiting. After an email request, progress stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the game. On Android, a copy of the game data made by your phone's own backup service may come back if you reinstall the game and restore from that backup; we do not control it.

What You Lose

Your progress and everything in it are deleted with the account: Catnip, Recruit Tickets, staff, decor, boosts, including items that you paid for. Paid consumables (Catnip packs, the Starter Pack, the Piggy Bank and bundles) are lost with the account and are not restored by the store. Only the Ad-Free Pass (shown as "Ad-Free Evil" in the game and the store; a non-consumable purchase) and an active Black Cat Club subscription can be restored through the store, in a new game with the same store account: Settings, Account, Restore Purchases. We cannot promise that this works after a deletion, because RevenueCat, which checks purchases for the game, may keep the purchase with your old player ID, which no longer exists. If Restore Purchases does not bring Ad-Free Evil or your subscription back, email us the store order number and we will look into it.

What Is Kept or Not Cancelled

  • An active subscription is not cancelled. Deleting your account or your data does not cancel the Black Cat Club. It keeps renewing until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, so cancel it there before you delete if you do not want to keep being billed. The game's Manage subscription button opens those settings.
  • Your purchases stay in the records of Apple and Google, and we keep the purchase records that tax and accounting law require.
  • RevenueCat's customer record for your old player ID (which store products were bought and when, and the store receipt data) is not deleted by Delete account. The game cannot delete it, because that needs a server-side key that the app does not carry. The game only tries to log out of it. The record stays as a purchase record, kept for accounting, fraud prevention and store-record purposes under RevenueCat's retention rules, and after an in-game deletion it can no longer be tied to any account or save of yours in the game. To have it removed, email us with a store order number, as described above.
  • Crash reports are kept for 90 days, after which Firebase starts removing them. Until then they may contain your old player ID, which no longer identifies any account.
  • Unity Ads keeps advertising data under its own policy. You can make a request to Unity through the Data Privacy icon in its ads or the routes in Unity's privacy policy.
  • From version 1.0.1 the game uses Google Analytics and Meta App Events. Google Analytics events are stored under a random ID of the installation, not under your player ID: deleting your account does not remove them, and they are deleted when their retention period ends (at most 14 months). Events that Meta received are kept under Meta's privacy policy, which also describes Meta's own request routes. See the Privacy Policy.
  • After data is deleted, Google removes it from its live and backup systems on its own schedule, which Google documents as completed within about 180 days.
  • With Sign in with Apple, the game tries to revoke its Apple authorization, but that attempt can fail. If Cat Rules Corp is still listed after a deletion, you can remove it yourself in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple.
  • If the same linked account is also signed in on another phone, that phone can still upload its save for up to about an hour after the deletion (the sign-in it holds stays valid that long), which creates the cloud save again. Leaving the game closed on that phone for that hour avoids it. If it happens anyway, email us; as with the anonymous IDs described after this point, we can only find that save with a store order number from a purchase made with the account.
  • If you linked your account on a new phone and the game switched to your existing account, the anonymous player ID that the new phone used before the switch is a separate ID and stays behind. Delete account does not remove it. It has no name and no email, and it holds the cloud save that the phone backed up under it before you linked (at least the start of a new game). To have it removed, email us as described above; we can only find it with a store order number from a purchase made on it.
  • The new anonymous player ID that the game creates at the next launch after a deletion is a separate ID. It has no name and no email, and the game backs the new, empty game up under it. A guest has no Delete account button, so if you want that ID removed too, use the email request (see above for what we can identify), and uninstall the game if you do not want it to create another one.
